Ava Eva is a Brussels-based DJ who explores the space between intention and intuition. Her sets orbit around house, bass and hypnotic rhythms, often tinged with a subtle sense of nostalgia. She gravitates toward tracks that feel strangely familiar — the kind that evoke memories you can’t quite place. Beyond the booth, she hosts nights and podcasts built around the concept of anemoia: a longing for a time or place never actually lived. Through these projects, she invites other DJs to interpret the theme in their own way, creating unexpected selections and intimate storytelling. She is also a resident at Blur Brussels and a regular voice on the We Are Various airwaves.
For her, DJing is a way of making emotions tangible. She seeks out sounds that spark a memory, a mood, or a fleeting feeling of déjà-vu, regardless of genre. Atmosphere is her guiding principle — whether the result is joyful, nostalgic, or something in between. With this residency, she continues to deepen that exploration through her own selections while encouraging listeners to connect with their own emotional landscapes.
Each episode follows a feeling rather than a formula. She tunes into a specific moment, sensation or inner pull and lets that guide the music, allowing every show to unfold differently. No two sets sound the same, giving the residency an ever-shifting, intuitive and deeply personal character.
