Fastfrwrd is a concept founded by Ron_no out of his love for (non-)contemporary, unconventional electronic music. He started this concept as a radio show on his local community radio 'OK-radio/OperatieKwartier' but quickly felt an urge to do more with this concept. 

Fastfrwrd is based on the feeling that electronic music is constantly moving, evolving and reinventing itself but can simultaneously evoke a timeless feeling. Because of these constant shifts it can feel difficult to assimilate everything and gives you the impression that time is moving too fast. 

During the Fastfrwrd-residency, Ron_no will share his take on electronic music varying from atmospheric, intricate downtempo sounds to the more fast-paced, bass and break-heavy stuff (and everything inbetween). With the Fastfrwrd concept, Ron_no hopes to create a safe space for (local) artists and DJ's where they can fully express themselves. You can expect invites of Belgian artists/DJ's who will be able to share their own perspective and sound. For the visual identity of Fastfrwrd, Ron_no is working together with graphic designer 'Studio Bronco' (Stan Tijtgat).
